Mong Kok Creepers to defend Nines title

The second Hong Kong Rugby League Nines has received a significant boost with the Mong Kok Creepers registering for the event at King’s Park in Kowloon.

The defending champions of the inaugural HKRL Nines, the Creepers will come into the tournament as favourites after going through the entire event undefeated in 2015.

Representing the region of Mong Kok within the Yau Tsim Mong District of Hong Kong, the Creepers will once again be headed up by HKRL board member, Ian Molyneaux.

The 2016 Hong Kong Rugby League Nines will take place on Monday, May 2nd (Labour Day) at Kings Park in Kowloon.

The Creepers are the fifth team to commit to the 2016 event following the registrations of the Wan Chai Warriors, Coastal Cobras, Hong Kong Hunters, and newcomers, the Victorious Secrets from Causeway Bay.

Teams and players interested in taking part in the event should contact the Hong Kong Rugby League via email at info@hongkongrugbyleague.com
